Use Bruxa as a private wellness and awareness aid, not as medical or dental care.

Not a medical device

Bruxa does not diagnose, screen for, treat, cure, or prevent bruxism or any condition. Its detector is imperfect: grinding may be missed and other sounds may be counted. Grind Scores, correlations, reports, reminders, and exports are informational and are not medical advice. Seek a dentist or other qualified professional for pain, tooth wear, or concerns.

Your recordings

You are responsible for using recording features lawfully and respecting other people nearby. Recordings stay on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.

Free and PRO access

The free tier includes recording, Grind Scores, corrections, recent nights, on-device morning reports, and daytime jaw check-ins. PRO can unlock deeper history, long-term trends, note-pattern insights, a day/night view, and Dentist Report export.

Purchases

Bruxa PRO is a single one-time non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription: there is no free trial, it does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel. The price is confirmed by Apple before purchase and charged once to your Apple Account. Restore Purchases is available in the app and on your other Apple devices. Customers who bought a monthly or yearly Bruxa subscription before we moved to one-time pricing keep their access; those plans are no longer sold and can be cancelled in Apple Account Settings.

Availability

We work to keep local recording reliable, but device storage, microphone permissions, interruptions, operating-system behavior, or hardware can affect capture. Bruxa labels a recovered or interrupted capture as partial and uses recorded time rather than assuming a full night.
